Imagine what your food would be without spices, even if it’s curry, chili, garlic, tajin, or paprika!
Today I’m gonna prefer to you some spices that you may have never heard of or tasted.
1). Saffron
you surely have heard of it but never tasted it -In Greece, we literally call it Kozani Yolk. Saffron is pretty expensive since you have to pluck hundred of them for just grams of it
Perks and the opposite
But it gives lots of flavor to your food and you don’t need 10 of them in every food (just 3 or something). Literally, it’s more expensive than actual gold with up to 5.000$ worth!
2). MSG
MSG is sodium from the Asian kitchen that technically makes your food better with an “Umami” taste. You can put it on noodles, stew, dumplings, and even desserts!
But it had (and still has) lots of controversies. It was known for “being dangerous” and was called “Chinese restaurant syndrome” but the myth was debunked.

3). Vegemite
Oh my god. Aussie mate, spiders, milo, and vegemite! (don’t take this seriously)
Vegemite is really used in Australian breakfasts. Aussies love it but the other population probably hates it. It can be used in toast, drinks, and even… By the spoon!!!
Why do most people hate it?
Even though it’s really healthy and rich in vitamins, people call it really but really bitter and disgusting, and it can even make some people vomit from it
